BY ALEX FAIR THE ADVOCATE Some of the North West Tall Timbers Thunder’s finest will be on hand on Saturday to pass on tips to the next generation of basketballers.
The SEABL club will hold its first clinic of the year at its home base at Ulverstone, with the likes of Jeremiah Ingram, Ben Richmond, Darcy Malone, Lachie Barker and Joe Chilcott all confirmed as being part of the day.
The all-ages clinic will be run from 9.30am-11.30am.
Those wishing to attend asked to register via email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or via the Thunder’s Facebook page (North-West Thunder Basketball).
It will cost $25 to take part, which is payable on the day.
Participants will get a Intersport drink bottle and socks for taking part.
The Thunder will start their 2018 SEABL campaign on Saturday, April 7 against Kilsyth at Ulverstone.
The club will also play four home games in Devonport this season.
Its first game in the city will be the blockbuster intrastate clash with the Hobart Chargers on Saturday, April 14.
