JARRYD MCGUANE THE ADVOCATE The future of the North West Thunder and the two other Tasmanian SEABL clubs will be decided on Friday with the Basketball Australia board holding a meeting to make a final decision on the SEABL.
Thunder chairman Tony Barker said the three Tasmanian clubs remain out of the information loop and he was unsure whether they would hear anything official on Friday.
“We have just got a complete lack of information at the moment coming out of Basketball Australia or Basketball Victoria,” Barker said
“The word on the street is that there will be a place for the three Tasmanian clubs in the new Victorian league, but there is no information confirming that.
“For all intents and purposes, we know the league won’t be progressing in its current form and the frustrating thing is that nothing has been confirmed to date.”
