BY ALEX FAIR (@AJFair85) THE ADVOCATE Chudier Pal has been unveiled as the North-West Thunder’s fourth and final signing for the 2017 SEABL season.
The 25-year-old, 206 centimetre Perth Wildcats development player has had a US College career playing for UNC Asheville and Roane State Community College. The power forward/centre was born in Ethiopia, before moving to Kenya. After his family relocated to Australia, he was spotted by former Asheville forward Joey Harrell during Harrell’s time playing professionally in this country.
Pal displayed his capabilities at Roane State in 2012-13, where he averaged 10 points and nine rebounds a game. Pal joins American duo Akeem Richmond and Jeremiah Ingram, as well as New South Welshman Daniel Sepokas, as signings for Sam Armstrong’s team.
